Expect to collaborate

I joined Siegfried in March 2022. I was excited to start after I observed the culture and personnel during the interview process. With my undergraduate degree in chemistry, I started as a quality control chemist for a consumer products company. Shortly after, I received a master’s degree in pharmaceutical science and switched careers to a life sciences company in New Jersey. After a year, I became an analytical scientist at a specialty chemicals and sustainable technologies company, however, I knew this wasn’t where I belonged. I came across a job posting for Siegfried – and two weeks after the interview process, I received a job offer!

Currently, I am a Analytical Research and Development Manager. I adore being a part of the analytical department and being an innovator. My team and I are responsible for the analytics of existing and new drug substances that Siegfried manufactures. We ensure analytical test methods are optimized and robust before implementing to quality control. Regardless of how busy my workday is at times, my goal is to meet deadlines and maintain effective communication with my peers, regardless of the circumstances. Quality has always been a driving force in every workplace I’ve been part of and it is one of the most important aspects at Siegfried. Having experience in both areas, I find it gratifying to observe how both departments work together to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Throughout my time, my colleagues continue to be welcoming, supportive and reliable. I am grateful that Siegfried’s has a sense of family and community in the workplace. Everyone I’ve crossed paths with is willing: willing to help, listen, grow and adapt. Years from now, I intend to be present to see the expansion of our Siegfried family.
